The trip from Stockholm to Helsinki is certainly much easier if you fly.  The two cities are separated by roughly 250 miles. However, if you want to take out a car rental and drive the whole way, you’ll need to go all the way around the Gulf of Bothnia. This racks your journey up to around 1,000 miles. It’s doable, but there are better options.

The drive from Stockholm to Oslo is equally as impressive as the rest. The journey will take around 6-7 hours and you’ll cover 310 miles along the way. The route is pretty impressive from start to finish and will give you plenty of options to stop off in charming towns and bustling cities along the way.

Once you’ve reached Oslo, Norway, you’ll be treated to the most beautiful views across the North Sea. Of course, there are endless things to see and do in the city.
