For complete peace of mind during your rental, we offer a variety of additional cover packages to reduce your excess, or to protect and support you in the event of an accident or vehicle breakdown.
Choose from our two excess reduction packages shown below, covering repair or replacement of your vehicle if it is damaged. Simply add Vehicle Cover or Vehicle Cover Plus when you make your reservation online.
Roadside Assistance Plus covers breakdowns or common mishaps like flat batteries and locked-in keys, and can be added to your online reservation at the same time as you choose extras such as child seats and additional drivers. It is included when you choose Vehicle Cover Plus.
If you are planning to take your rental car to Ireland, our Continental Cover provides you with worry free 24-hour breakdown assistance. Just contact us at least 5 days before picking up your vehicle and we'll ensure the necessary paperwork is prepared
Excess Reduction
Adding Vehicle Cover or Vehicle Cover Plus to your reservation reduces the excess to zero on standard car groups only. When purchased for vans the excess will be significantly reduced. Local terms and conditions apply.
The cost for Vehicle Cover and Vehicle Cover Plus packages will depend upon the vehicle and length of rental.

Windscreen Cover
Windscreen Cover is not included in any cover package for bookings in the UK, other than Avis Inclusive bookings.
Windscreen Cover is included in all cover packages for bookings into Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland, though an excess will apply.
For bookings in the UK and elsewhere, Windscreen Cover can be arranged when you collect your vehicle.
